Tour of the Keith and Jim Straw Collection

This is a rare treat to tour the extensive art collection acquired by Keith and Jim Straw for almost 50 years. The collection represents a wide scope of women from the 17th century to 19th century, Rosa Bonheur, etc. to the 20th and 21st with some local Philadelphia artists, Diana Burko, Louise Osborne, etc. and several native American and minority painters. Keith’s lovely townhouse in Society Hill is literally filled with art.

After the art tour, we have the opportunity to stop in and see the “Man Full of Trouble”. This is a small local tavern dating from the 18th century, It has been recently restored. It is located diagonally across the street from Keith’s place.

Space is very limited. Tour starts at 10:00. Location: 112 Spruce Street. Carpooling is strongly advised. There is a parking garage at the nearby hotel.
