Form in Art

Studio art classes for the partially sighted and unsighted.
Purpose is to enhance their understanding of the arts through studio workshops and touch tours in the galleries.
First such program at a major American museum
In 1971 this award-winning program was initiated by the Women’s Committee which continues to provide funding on an annual basis.
Works are exhibited at the Museum annually in June, at the Wills Eye Hospital in July, and at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in August.
